  1. A unique DOI will be assigned to each manuscript published allowing persistant linking. Published papers are permanently available regardless of the outcome of post publication peer review. 
  2. Authors can change and update their papers by publishing revised versions; Changes will appear at the article’s history. Once accepted, the individual versions cannot be altered or withdrawn and will be constantly available on the JMSR website in free access. JMSR participates in the CrossMark scheme. By applying the CrossMark policies, JMSR maintains the published content and alerts readers to all possible occurred changes. Only major changes with significant editorial consequences are deposited. The following are 12 defined types of accepted “update” within Crossmark:
  • Addendum  
  • Clarification
  • Correction
  • Corrigendum
  • Erratum
  • Expression of concern
  • New edition
  • New version
  • Partial retraction
  • Removal
  • Retraction
  • Withdrawal
